Snack Smart is a startup introducing a new way of offering healthy and fresh snacks in schools. Through the Snack Smart mobile app, users can pre-order and pay for selected school snacks, which are delivered to vending machines located within the school. Snacks are prepared in the Snack Smart kitchen and delivered to the vending machines in school facilities. Our service includes: ordering and selecting snacks exclusively through the mobile app, a subscription model with upfront payment, and snack delivery to selected school
Over the weekend, parents can use the Snack Smart app to order snacks for the upcoming school week.
They need to download the mobile app via Google Play or the Apple Store and link it to the Snack Smart card that the student previously received at school.
By reviewing the Snack Smart menu planned for the following week, they can choose the quantity (minimum order is one snack), the day and time for delivery, as well as the school where the snack should be delivered.
Payment is made in advance through the mobile app using a payment card.
Snacks are paid for exclusively upfront using debit or credit cards. Payments are processed through WS PAY.
Our culinary team prepares healthy, diverse, fresh, and nutritionally rich snacks. Options may include animal-based meats (primarily beef and turkey), seasonal fresh fruits and vegetables, and certain desserts. The snacks are nutritionally balanced and developed under the guidance of our chef and nutritionist, ensuring they meet the needs of children aged 6–15. The menu is varied, featuring sandwiches, wraps, desserts, fresh fruit, etc., and is adjusted throughout the year based on seasonality, focusing on fresh, locally sourced ingredients.
Our recipes were created by a head chef in collaboration with a certified nutritionist-dietitian. All ingredients used in our meals are listed on the label attached to the packaging, available in the mobile app, and accessible by scanning the QR code on the label.
All the food products we use in meal preparation are sourced exclusively from registered retail chains (supermarkets) that meet legal food safety standards. We carefully monitor ingredient labels, expiration dates, and storage conditions to ensure consistent quality and safety of the meals we prepare.
Snacks are delivered to your child’s school and can be picked up at any time during the school day via Snack Smart vending machines. To collect the snack, the child simply taps their Snack Smart card on the vending machine, and the snack is automatically dispensed. This system eliminates the need for cash and provides parents with better control over their child’s snack choices. Parents can also monitor when and what their child eats via the app.
